CLIENT BRIEF & REQUIREMENTS
The clients wanted to combine a small bathroom and walk-in wardrobe into one cohesive open-plan space, but struggled to understand whether everything would realistically fit. Their wish list included a walk-in shower, freestanding bath, dual basin vanity, toilet, towel radiator, all while maintaining privacy, functionality, and a luxurious spa-like atmosphere. One of the biggest challenges was the angled ceiling with the Velux window, which created height restrictions and made planning the layout particularly difficult.
HOW SELEKT DESIGN HELPED
Through realistic 3D visuals and layout planning, Selekt Design helped the clients confidently visualise the potential of removing the dividing wall and combining both rooms into one elegant master suite. We designed the freestanding bath as the central focal point beneath the Velux window to create a calm spa-style experience, while carefully zoning the room so the shower, bath, sinks, and toilet could all function comfortably at the same time without disrupting one another.
To improve everyday practicality, we positioned the floating dual basins and oversized mirror close to the entrance for quick morning routines, while the toilet was tucked privately behind a dividing wall at the rear of the space. Warm blush-toned stone finishes, textured surfaces, brushed bronze fixtures, integrated LEDs, and soft ambient lighting brought warmth and sophistication throughout the interior, creating a cohesive and luxurious feel from the bathroom through to the wardrobe.
